A year after A&E canceled the docuseries, its sibling network has ordered 15 new episodes.

More than a year after cable network A&E canceled Intervention following 13 seasons, A+E Networks group sibling LMN has revived the docuseries for a 14th run, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

LMN — which previously picked up the remaining episodes of A&E's canceled drama Those Who Kill — has ordered 15 new episodes of the series from original producers GRB Entertainment. Production will begin in the summer for a debut during the first quarter of 2015. As part of the deal, original interventionists Jeff Van Vonderen and Candy Finnigan will return.

The series profiles people whose uncontrollable addiction to drugs, alcohol or compulsive behavior has brought them to the brink and follows them as they are presented with the life-changing opportunity of an intervention and rehab.

During its run on A&E, seasons ranged from nine to 21 installments for a total of 194 episodes plus 12 specials. The show earned two Emmy nominations for outstanding reality series, taking home the statuette in 2009.

"Over the course of 13 seasons on A&E, Intervention wove itself into the fabric of pop culture and brought global awareness to addiction and treatment options," FYI & LMN president Jana Bennett said. "The stories profiled on this series are profoundly powerful, and we are proud to continue it on LMN."

GRB's Gary R. Benz, Michael Branton and Jeffrey L. Weaver exec produce, while LMN's Laura Fleury and Jen Wagman will oversee for the network. The series was originally created by Sam Mettler.

LMN, a division of A+E Networks and a joint venture of the Disney-ABC Television Group and Hearst Corp., caters to women. It airs a mix of original and syndicated programming including unscripted shows My Haunted House, I Dated a Psycho, Killer Kids, Campus Nightmares and more.
